Next Steps

Carolina Creek 2020

Thanks so much for choosing Carolina Creek to host your group! We are ECSTATIC to have your campers join us for Summer 2020, and we want to make your experience absolutely seamless. We have compiled some helpful information below that will make a seamless experience your reality!

Information for the Parents:

Parent Portal Guide

Your Parent Portal will house all of the important paperwork and help keep track of balance updates, medical forms and so on! There are just a few things we need to double check to ensure your camper has the BEST Carolina Creek experience ever:

  1. Go to carolinacreek.org
  2. Sign in to your existing account with your email and password
  3. On the dashboard, click, “View Itineraries”
  4. Select your itinerary and then your child’s name

Once you are in the Parent Portal, this is where we’ll be able to take care of any last minute details.

  1. Click on the Health Form Icon
  2. Fill out each page then press the “continue” button
  3. Complete the form with your electronic autograph (electronically signing your name)

Is there someone your camper wants to create lifelong memories with this week? We’ve got you covered! Follow these directions and let the memories begin!

  1. Click on the Roommate Request Icon
  2. Enter the friend’s name, their parent’s email, and watch for them to approve your request!

Shazaam! You’re all set. Now, listen, we know your kiddo is so awesome that EVERYONE wants to be in a cabin with them. Understandable. We ask that you limit the awesome factor to no more than 4 friends. Why? Because being awesome is contagious and your child will want to spread the wealth and meet others that are awesome. Trust us, it’s an amazing… say, awesome loop of goodness. Make sure you have confirmed your roommate no later than 1 week prior to camp.

Nervous about not having a roommate request? Don’t be. There are so many amazing people that will be in your camper’s cabin this week; they’ll make friends quick and fast!

  1. Select “Store Account”
  2. Add how much you would like to add and if you would like to donate the balance.
  3. Make sure to put $25-$50 on your camper’s account so they will have access to money to buy snacks and souvenirs at the store!

If they run out of money during the week- no problem! Use this same portal to put money into your camper’s account….remotely.

You’re doing great! Just one more thing to double check and then you should reward yourself with a smoothie… EXTRA fruit!!

ELEVATE PARENT INFO

We are excited about the opportunity to minister to, and with, your student this summer.  This summer Elevate Campers will be exploring what it looks like to experience community through participation in various activities, recreation, and team building opportunities. Campers will experience the fun of camp while learning what it means to serve those around them. This close-knit community will allow campers to be challenged in their faith and encouraged to embrace who Christ calls them to be. Here are a few events that we want to make you aware of so that way you come to camp prepared for what camp has in store.

Lake Livingston Day:

  • Community is all about having fun together! It’s about getting to experience something in a fun and exciting way! One of the ways that we are going to do this is by having an entire afternoon spent at our lakefront property on Lake Livingston! At the lake, we will have some cool opportunities for your student to spend some time out on the boats tubing, banana boating, and wakeboarding. We will also have plenty of time to do other fun things near shore like hanging out in our free swim areas, Spikeball GaGa Ball and Can Jam to name a few.  After a fun-filled afternoon, we will picnic and watch the sunset together before we call it a day.

Service Projects:

  • When we talk about community it’s always enjoyable to have fun with people, you are close too, but it’s also fun to serve alongside them. Come to camp prepared to spend some time participating in various service projects. These projects will require you to have some clothes to get messy and don’t mind ruining as well as having closed toed shoes. Work gloves are not required but you may bring a pair if you have them.

Banquet Night:

  • On Friday night,  we are going to be having a banquet style dinner. This is because we want to celebrate what God has done throughout the week as well as create a cool experience in which the students can just spend some special time together. Now when we say banquet, we don’t mean bring a prom dress and full suit to camp. All we are asking is that you wear an “appropriate” outfit that is just a bit more classy than athletic clothing.
