Lone Star Lights Interior Lead
Department: Lone Star LightsGeneral Qualifications
The Lone Star Lights Interiors Lead must be a mature follower of Jesus, still growing and developing in his/her faith. They must be fully in accord with Carolina Creek’s mission statement, and statement of beliefs; committed to living these out personally, and instilling them in the organization. They must be of strong moral character and integrity.
Position Objective
Carolina Creek is seeking an experienced and creative interior decorator to oversee the interior design and decoration for our Christmas event, Lone Star Lights at Carolina Creek. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and creativity to ensure that all decorations and designs are in line with the theme of the event. They will also have the ability to recruit, cast vision for, lead, and manage a team of workers, (both paid and volunteer), to execute the interior experience for Lone Star Lights.

- This is a hybrid position that will require on-site responsibilities during the LSL season
- Understand and be able to incorporate the brand attributes of both Carolina Creek generally, and Lone Star Lights specifically regarding all communications, furnishings and design
- Develop and execute a visual concept and design for the interior spaces of Lone Star Lights
- Recruit, manage and oversee a team of decorators to ensure that all decorations and set-up are completed on schedule and meet quality standards
- Create a detailed budget plan for the interior decorating, ensuring that expenses are allocated efficiently
- Collaborate with event production team to ensure that all design concepts are feasible and align with the overall event theme
- Stay up-to-date on current design trends and incorporate into the interior decorating plan
- Communicate effectively with vendors, contractors, and other members of the event team to ensure that all requirements are met
Fall Seasonal Staff

Position Objective
The Fall Staff Team Member will work with the Program Director to help all guests at Carolina Creek know and experience the love of Jesus Christ. He/she will facilitate activities, serve meals, provide hospitality, clean, and do anything else a guest group at Carolina Creek will need. He/she will assist all departments in preparing for diverse camp functions. He/she is responsible to model a genuine lifestyle of Christian discipleship in a manner consistent with Carolina Creek’s mission, vision and values.

Key Job Accountabilities
- Participate in regular corporate prayer, worship and Bible study.
- Able to answer questions about Christian doctrines and belief from their own personal experience
- Possess the ability to pray with staff members and guests.
- Facilitate Carolina Creek adventure/recreation, aquatics, and target sports in a safe manner.
- Assist the Guest Experience Team in the logistics of arrival and departure of guest groups.
- Assist the Guest Experience Team in the cleaning of dining halls, common areas, and cabins.
Weekend Staff

The Adventure Recreation Specialist helps provide campers with a safe and fun environment, through the facilitation of activities. This person is responsible for helping create a space where guests can take one step closer to Jesus by trying new activities and facing their fears.

Key Job Accountabilities
- Facilitate challenge course, zipline, and other adventure activities with campers and adults of all ages
- Facilitate general recreation areas such as Frisbee Golf, Target Sports, Field Games, etc.
- Fill in as needed in other activity areas when ropes activities are not active
- Safely instruct all adventure elements
- Provide general upkeep and cleanliness of all activity sites as well as camp property
- Assist the program team in the nightly programs (dependent on camp center)
- Assist with general program functions, including serving meals, cleaning, parking, and more
Outdoor Science Principal
Department: Science EducationDo you love implementing camp program and seeing kids experience wonder and awe in nature? Join our Outdoor Science Team! Do you enjoy facilitating the details of camp and seeing how your work directly impacts student’s lives? Are you interested in leading others in teaching and being outdoors? Our relationship based, nature oriented Outdoor Science Program exposes students to the wonder of nature through hands-on science lessons, adventure experiences, and team building. The Outdoor Science team is a group of Jesus loving outdoor enthusiasts that set aside several months to live in community and join us in our mission.
Position Objective
The Outdoor Science Principal assumes responsibility for overseeing staff, students, and teachers while implementing the daily details of the Outdoor Science Program and facilities. You will also assist in regular program duties, including team building and adventure activities, as well as additional guest group support responsibilities when outdoor science is not in session (additional support duties with facilities, housekeeping, food service, and adventure recreation. He/she will be responsible to model a genuine lifestyle of Christian discipleship in a manner consistent with Carolina Creek’s mission, vision, and values.

Outdoor Science Naturalist
Department: Science Education- Ability to relate to a variety of age groups and effectively manage a student group.

- Ability to articulate the gospel of Jesus Christ as communicated in Scripture and through
nature. - Passionate about science and the outdoors.
- Ability to teach in a calm, clear and engaging manner with all ages.

Outdoor Science Health Aide
