Guest Experiences Specialist Hosting/Event Execution

Department: Guest Experience

Position Objective

The Guest Experience Specialist- Hosting and Event Execution will work with the Director of Marketing, Sales, and Events to provide an outstanding experience of Christian hospitality for guests of all ages. They will work with group coordinators to make sure that facilities are prepared to specifications for a group’s arrival, and attend to all needs during their stay while authentically sharing the love of Jesus through their service and interactions. They will have general knowledge of the camp program.  They will be responsible to model a genuine lifestyle of Christian discipleship in a manner consistent with Carolina Creek’s mission, vision, and values.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Work as a professional retreat host, anticipating needs and facilitating all aspects of events for programmed retreats and camps as well as guest groups.
  • Understand and ensure that the guest experience aligns with Carolina Creek’s mission and values.
  • Interface with all departments before and during events to make sure that housekeeping, food service, maintenance, grounds, activity staff, health staff, and other service staff understand expectations.
  • Proactively minimize any conflicts between concurrent groups.
  • Lead recreational activities when needed.
  • Serve on the team that provides access control management and climate control year-round.
  • Lead in serving guests, particularly upholding standards for customer service, cleanliness of facilities, support of the dining experience, provision of recreational activities, and impromptu needs of any group.
  • Respond creatively, patiently, courteously, and professionally to unanticipated events, such as inclement weather, injuries, delays, and conflicts between groups.

Facilities Specialist

Department: Facilities

Position Objective

The Facilities Crew Member is responsible for the maintenance of all grounds, roads, vehicles, boats, buildings and utilities on Carolina Creek property. He/she is responsible to model a genuine lifestyle of Christian discipleship, nurturing spiritual growth of staff in a manner consistent with Carolina Creek’s mission, vision and values.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Complete daily assignments in a safe manner, always using appropriate safety equipment.
  • Maintain the interior and exterior of all camp-owned buildings including walkways and porch areas.
  • Maintain the areas around, and the utilities (water, electric, etc.) supporting the outdoor facilities used for recreation and adventure activities including, but not limited to, pools, waterfronts, the cable park, ropes courses, teams courses, athletic fields, pavilions, courts, trails, etc. in accordance with good stewardship practices and the requirements of licensing agencies and third-party providers of best practices for safety and operations.
  • Remove dangerous trees and/or limbs and keep outside areas mowed and looking clean and well-kept.
  • Assist in the repair/diagnosis of mechanical malfunctions of company-owned or leased automobiles, boats, trailers, and heavy machinery.

Part-Time Housekeeping Specialist

Housekeeping Specialists have the opportunity to create a warm and hospitable environment for all guests as they enjoy our facilities and experiences at Carolina Creek. This position is essential to the ministry of Carolina Creek. Housekeeping Specialists serve the mission of Carolina Creek by maintaining cleanliness of all facilities in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Greet and serve all camp guests with a joyful attitude and posture of hospitalityParticipate in general program functions as requested,  including but not limited to serving meals, cleaning, and parking
  • Attend required staff meetings and events
  • Actively participate to the broader camp programs
  • Actively engage and participate in the staff community through a godly attitude, words and actions.

Part-Time Graphic Designer

Department: Creative Services

General Qualifications

The Graphic Design Support Specialist must be a mature follower of Jesus, still growing and developing in his/her faith. He/she must be fully in accordance with Carolina Creek’s mission statement, and statement of beliefs; committed to living these out personally, and instilling them in the organization. He/she must be of strong moral character and integrity. Must be able to fulfill all job responsibilities and physical demands, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Position Objective

The Graphic Designer will work within our Creative Services Department  to produce excellent, engaging visual content for Carolina Creek Programs, marketing initiatives and other ministry projects.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Step into the entire design process, from intent, to concepting, to drafting, to refinement, to final application and delivery
  • Create engaging pieces that will be at home anywhere from phone screens, to flyers, to billboards
  • Collaborate on assets for existing campaigns or using assets from other designers
  • Attend all required staff meetings and events
  • Actively participate in and contribute to the broader camp programs of Carolina Creek
  • Actively engage and participate in the staff community through a godly attitude, words and actions
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Part-Time Information Technology Specialist

Department: Creative Services

Are you a strategic thinker with at least two years of IT support experience? Are you proficient in network management, and are able to effectively communicate complex technical solutions while being adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment? Carolina Creek is looking for you!

Position Objective

The Information Technology Support Specialist will serve as  a support role to the Information Technology Lead. This person is a critical thinker who plans for the future and implements holistic solutions that solve felt needs by users. Information Technology support for Carolina Creek includes, but is not limited to on-site network planning, implementation and triaging, ISP relations, workstation management, user access and accounts, data security and management, data backup management, software evaluation, support and training, IP phone system management, printer and peripheral support, and website technical maintenance and management.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Work with the Information Technology Lead to support the Information Technology infrastructure, policies and procedures at Carolina Creek.
  •  Ensure the network for Carolina Creek is always up, maintained and strategic implementations are applied
  • Serve as technical support utilizing our ticketing solution to provide timely solutions for users
  • Work with our ISP to ensure minimal downtime and proper expedient issue resolution when needed
  • Support workstations for all users and ensure a healthy life-cycle of workstation equipment
  • Issue, revoke and audit user accounts for users
  • Support software/cloud-based solutions currently used by Carolina Creek, provide on-site training and support.
