Welcome to IRL (In Real Life)!

Plug in, log on, respawn, go live, launch meeting… These are just some of the common terms in today’s increasingly fragmented and virtual world. But God invites us to have an authentic and personal relationship with him. Any faith that hides behind filters, fakeness, or family simply won’t due. Join us as we explore the world of the virtual yet discover God’s ancient and gentle pursuit of a relationship with us IRL.

ELEVATE Parent Info

We are excited about the opportunity to minister to, and with, your student this summer. This summer Elevate Campers will be exploring what it looks like to experience community through participation in various activities, recreation, and team building opportunities. Campers will experience the fun of camp while learning what it means to serve those around them. This close-knit community will allow campers to be challenged in their faith and encouraged to embrace who Christ calls them to be. Here are a few events that we want to make you aware of so that way you come to camp prepared for what camp has in store.

LAKE LIVINGSTON DAY
Community is all about having fun together! It’s about getting to experience something in a fun and exciting way! One of the ways that we are going to do this is by having an entire morning spent at our lakefront property on Lake Livingston! At the lake, we will have some cool opportunities for your student to spend some time out on the boats tubing, banana boating, and wakeboarding. We will also have plenty of time to do other fun things near shore like hanging out in our free swim areas, Spikeball, GaGa Ball and Can Jam to name a few. After a fun-filled morning, we will enjoy a nice lunch and adventure back to camp!

SERVICE PROJECTS
When we talk about community it’s always enjoyable to have fun with people, you are close too, but it’s also fun to serve alongside them. Come to camp prepared to spend some time participating in various service projects. These projects will require you to have some clothes to get messy and don’t mind ruining as well as having closed toed shoes.

BANQUET NIGHT
On Friday night, we are going to be having a banquet style dinner. This is because we want to celebrate what God has done throughout the week as well as create a cool experience in which the students can just spend some special time together. Now when we say banquet, we don’t mean bring a prom dress and full suit to camp. All we are asking is that you wear an “appropriate” outfit that is just a bit more classy than athletic clothing.
