Creekside is paradise for junior high and high school students. Waterfronts include frontage on the Carolina Creek which connects to Lake Livingston, an inland lake with a water zip, blobs and other toys, another inland lake that is home to the cable park and deep-water lagoon for cliff-jumping. Adventure venues are too numerous to mention with a quad zip line, giant swing and many other challenges. Recreation opportunities abound for interests ranging from Frisbee golf to watercolor painting. Creekside has something for everyone.

During our Creek Weeks all campers spend time in community joining in high energy worship and learning about Christ through dramas, small group interaction times, solo times with God and listening to dynamic speakers who model a life lived for Him. All Carolina Creek programs are known for integrating faith and fun, connecting spiritual truths throughout the day. Bring your Bible and an open mind and heart.

NEW THIS YEAR campers will choose an area of interest for activity times. There are four major areas to choose from:

Water Sports

Water Sports Majors will spend half of their activity time in the water. You’ll be wet all week with two days on the cable park, two days boating on the big water, plus kayaking and time at the waterfronts. Other activities include high and low adventure courses, classic camp favorites like Frisbee Golf and Gaga ball, and some dabbling in the arts.

Adventure Majors will spend half of their activity time in a harness, swinging, zipping, leaping, climbing and working with teams to conquer challenges. You’ll still get on the big water, enjoy the cable park and other waterfronts, classic camp activities like archery battle and basketball, plus the chance to express your creative side.

Arts Majors will spend half of their activity time participating in dance and drama classes, creating music with their peers, and expressing themselves through visual arts or writing. You’ll still get out on a lake for a ride on a tube or banana boat, and still get to swing from the trees and enjoy the pool and classic camp favorites.

Classic Camp majors will do a little of everything! You don’t have to choose. Equal time in Water Sports, Adventures, Arts and classic camp activities allows you to sample all of the best that Carolina Creek has to offer. What are classic camp activities? Gaga ball, Basketball, Archery Battle, Blobs, Gorilla Gun Man, Nine Square and more.

So you’ll spend most of the day with your cabin group, but split up for activities to join a co-ed group of others who choose the same Major Track. Choices are good right? And with four great options you can’t go wrong.
