Meet Our Full Time Staff

Keith Oglesby is both the founding Executive Director and the founding Camp Director of Carolina Creek Christian Camp. Keith received his Bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University, and his Master's degree from the University of Arkansas while serving as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Razorbacks. As a Nationally Certified Athletic Trainer, Keith has also worked with several Olympic athletes and served in an internship at the United States Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California where he worked with several Olympic teams.
After completing his Master’s degree, Keith served two years as the Director of Sports Medicine at Houston Baptist University before serving as the Assistant Administrator at Bellaire Christian Academy for two years and the Administrator for one. Keith also worked for five years in a variety of capacities at Kanakuk Christian Sports Camp in Branson, MO.
As the Executive Director, Keith oversees camp operations, camp facilities, retreats, summer camp programs, hiring and supervising camp personnel, maintaining and monitoring camp finances (both operational and capital), and is active in both fundraising, and Board development. Finally, Keith speaks to thousands of students every year. Keith’s passion for God’s Word, and his creative, energetic, and interactive style of teaching ministers to both students and adults of all ages. Keith is married to the love of his life, Carrie, and has four amazing children Emily, Christopher, Joshua, and David.

Carrie Oglesby is the founding Women's Director of Carolina Creek. She received her Bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University. Carrie writes the summer theme song each year, orchestrates the recording of the summer music CD, develops the summer theme skits, energizers, and dramas, coordinates all summer schedules for groups, individual campers, and staff, hires the summer female counselors, recruits summer campers, mentors college women, and speaks to a wide range of audiences. Carrie is married to the love of her life, Keith, and has four amazing children Emily, Christopher, Joshua, and David.

Ben joined the Carolina Creek team as a summer counselor in May of 2008. After serving just one summer, Ben felt the desire to serve our ministry year round. Ben stayed as a residential intern in August of 2008 and served until August of 2009. In August of 2009, Ben was hired to assist the Carolina Creek team in the area of facilities and maintenance. In the summer, Ben spends the majority of his time keeping both camps operational. In the non-summer months, Ben works in the area of facilities and maintenance, but also assists with weekend retreat programming.
